Some good advice for choosing mentors in general, actually. Finding a good fit is so crucial — and you definitely want someone you can learn from as well as be challenged by.

Interesting. Mentors sound like they are highly valued and must be a key component.

Its all about choosing the right one. Somethings people make the mistake of doing is just choosing someone or a relative without really asking the right questions. 🙂

    • Jilleysue says:

Oh they are clive. With out a mentor and support, you really have to work a little bit harder than normal. Its worth the time picking a good one.

  4. Amy Robles says:

I think a good mentor, in any business, is hard to find. They may be exceptionally successful, but do they know how to teach? And are they willing to train you?

    • Jilleysue says:

Mentors need to always be learning, growing and be willing to take constructive criticism. I agree Amy.

    • Jilleysue says:

Thats why its important to research. There are tons that are great and they don’t have be good teachers. They have to be available and support their team. In this day in age for me, its important for me to find someone who is familiar with the company and who is active online.
