Using social media is a must for any business today, but Instagram is really becoming a hit for driving business for Origami Owl Designers. With all of the tools and apps available for smartphones, it is easy to add in some fun to your marketing message. Instagram is a easy site that you can use to grow your Origami Business and here we have some tips for you to use to get started and use it successfully. Instagram is one of my personal favorites. I just love it and I’m so addicted to make my random pictures look so incredible with a just few simple taps of my phone. What designers are finding the most beneficial is that they can showcase their business while they are on the go, at parties or even signing up new team members.

Of course Facebook is always the first platform that I help my team get started with. If you haven’t started your Facebook Fanpage, you can check out the steps here, but once you have that down pat, I would certainly consider Instagram as next as the platform to find new customers and start build relationships.

Instagram Tips for your Origami Owl Business that will get your followers coming back for more

To use Instagram for your Origami Owl business, you need a smartphone with internet capabilities and one with a camera. These days if you own a smartphone, you can use Instagram to help promote your Origami Owl home business at jewelry bars, at events or even at your home while you are doing different business activities.

What I absolutely love about Instagram is that there are different ways to make pictures look amazing. Highlighted, black and white, sunlight and more.

Once you have your free Instagram account set up, what kind of photos do you post? Well, here are some that will help get your business noticed.

* Photos taken at your Origami Owl jewelry bars showing your party guests having fun!

* Photos of your new and seasonal products!

* Photos of you and your teammates attending local team meetings and training sessions.

* Photos of you and other jewelry designers attending company sponsored conventions, events and training sessions.

* Photos of your family involved in your Origami Owl business

* Photos of quotes, motivational minutes, new blog posts

Additional Instagram Tips for your Origami Owl Business

Don’t make your Instagram all about YOUR BUSINESS as followers don’t want to be spammed by sales messages 24/7. Mix up those photos that you post with some ones that you take of nature, sporting events, dining, community activities and so forth. This will also allow your Instagram followers to get to know you on a little bit of a personal basis. Also be sure to use hashtags of various words so that people can easily find you.

A big big big Instagram tip is, don’t just post your information with no interaction. Find your followers posts and be sure to like and comment on their pictures as well. This will boost up your engagement. What do people do when they are waiting? They are on their phones and most of the time, looking through the Instagram feed. Don’t let this chance to show off your business slip away.

Is Instagram a much better marketing platform than Pinterest?

I think they both have their great points. Pinterest is a great way to market direct sales but Instagram is really up and coming if you do it right and not INSTASPAM. Nothing worse than people connecting just to drive their business and not build relationships.
